Madam Speaker was founded by Dr. Alexis Harris, an Atlanta-based political scientist and communications expert who works with elected officials and helped propel U.S. Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock (D-GA) to victory in 2022 as his Digital Communications Manager. The institute consults candidates and recruits college students to political campaigns, creating a pathway from higher education into electoral politics.

 

From student councils to state legislatures and beyond, clients receive nuanced strategies to make complex matters clear. As such, we offer personalized programs as well as practical resources, messaging guidance, toolkits, talking points, webinars, workshops, trainings, policy recommendations, and more.
