Who is eligible to participate?
The Madam Speaker Institute is open to candidates, college students, and community leaders of all ages, in every corner of the United States. Candidates and community organizations are known as clients. Students are known as ambassadors.
What programs are offered?
The institute offers year-round 1:1 consulting for candidates, as well as collective trainings for entire campaign teams to prepare those on—or gearing up for—the campaign trail.

Madam Speaker also provides exclusive, innovative, collaborative programs for student cohorts throughout each year during its Spring program (March-May) and its Fall program (September-November).
How is material delivered?
The institute delivers content virtually and in-person. Educational opportunities, professional development trainings, webinars, courses, and conferences are typically delivered virtually to accommodate our national audience. Private, in-person offerings remain available upon request.

The Madam Speaker Institute is headquartered in Atlanta, GA, USA. Programs are offered in person and remotely.
Are there costs associated with participation?
In terms of political consultations and campaign trainings, costs vary based on client needs. Educational fees for college students may apply, though tuition waivers and scholarships are available for the 90-day program.
What happens after I apply?
Applications are considered on a rolling basis. The institute is accepting new clients — including candidates for the current election cycle as well as students for its Spring 2024 and Fall 2024 programs. A member of our team will reach out if we feel we can assist you.
